Microsoft 365 Support Analyst – Temporary (12 Months)

Salary: ₦150,000 – ₦250,000 per year
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Microsoft 365 Support Analyst responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and administration of Microsoft 365 applications and services. This role ensures the seamless operation, security, and performance of tools such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and related services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-level technical support for Microsoft 365 applications, resolving user issues efficiently.
- Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services, including user accounts, license allocation, security configurations, and compliance settings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email, collaboration tools, file storage, and system integrations.
- Assist in configuring and deploying new features, updates, and integrations with enterprise systems.
- Monitor system performance and security, responding proactively to alerts and incidents.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including troubleshooting guides and standard procedures.
- Train end-users and internal teams to optimize Microsoft 365 usage.
- Support identity and access management (MFA, SSO, and role-based access control).
- Stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365 updates, features, and best practices.
- Work with vendors, service providers, and internal teams for escalations and advanced troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in Microsoft 365 support or administration.
- Strong expertise in Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), PowerShell scripting, and automation.
- Familiarity with security and compliance settings, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Conditional Access Policies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Microsoft 365 certifications (such as Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Enterprise Administrator Expert) are a plus but not mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hybrid Microsoft 365 environments (on-premises Exchange & Active Directory).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
- Understanding of networking and security fundamentals.
Work Environment:
- Office-based, hybrid, or remote (depending on company policy).
- May require occasional evening or weekend work for maintenance and incident resolution.
