Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations & Customer Service Officer to ensure smooth transaction processing, reconciliation, and top-tier customer service. This role involves handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and supporting operational processes to drive efficiency while ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: HND/BSc in a relevant field
- Experience Level: Entry Level
- Experience Length: Minimum of 2 years
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Compliance
- Implement and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements (e.g., CBN, NDIC).
- Accurately process customer transactions, including transfers (intra & inter-bank) and loan disbursements.
- Perform daily transaction reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of transactions and generate required reports.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and error-free account reconciliation.
- Support onboarding and training of new team members on operational processes and systems.
Customer Service & Support
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
- Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies to customers.
- Resolve customer complaints effectively or escalate complex issues to the appropriate department.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, empathy, and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in operations, customer service, or banking roles.
- Strong understanding of transaction processing, reconciliation, and financial regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
